About the event

- Bessans is one of the Nordic Centers in France for the Cross Country Skiing and biathlon
- Located at the Vanoise National Park in the Haute Savoie
- The smallest Euroloppet municipality with 343 inhabitants
- 80 km cross country skiing area (perfectly prepared trails with different levels of difficulity)
- One of the highest cross country skiing areas in France and Europe (from 1600 m altitude)
- Exeptional snow safety from November to May with an additional netword of 14 snow cannons
- French National Teams and many nations visit Bessans every year
