Winners‘ ceremony in the convention hall of Lapplandhotel Olos
Lapponia Hiihto is an extraordinary Euroloppet cross-country skiing event. Three races within one week are offered. There is an overall standing however also only one race can be completed for the Euroloppet evaluation. All races take place in free technique. Participants of the classic technique are also valued and the races have tracks for classic technique.
It is a great challenge but also a unique experience of the Euroloppet series finale. Every cross-country skier should have experienced such an event! A wonderful, arctic, stunning landscape with a fantastic track net and an affectionate atmosphere among participants of the Lapponia Hiihto make the extraordinary journey to an unforgettable experience.
The excellent Lapplandhotel Olos was again chosen for accommodation. The winners’ ceremony and the race office will also be in the hotel on Friday. On the hotel’s ground the finishing area of the race can be found. As well the first race on Tuesday starts not far from the hotel (500 m). On Wednesday and on Friday buses leave from the hotel to the starting area.
A 250 km track net starts from the hotel as well as an alpine ski-lift can be found right next to the hotel.
