A pioneer project – a cross-country skiing marathon race in Spain – developed to a successful story. Marxa Beret is the largest cross-country skiing marathon race in Spain, where about 1.500 cross-country skiers take part. The race is located in Baqueira-Beret, the largest winter-sports-station of the Pyrenees. Baqueira-Beret is in the upper part of Val d’Aran (Naut Aran) and the Pallars Sobirà (Valls d’Àneu).
