Vertical Sommerlauf

Date: 17.08.2018 Location: St. Moritz Route: 5.5 km

The Vertical Summer Run leads through the original men's ski World Championship race track and gives the participants a special experience. The destination is on the "freefall platform", the steepest start of all men's ski runs (45 degrees incline). In winter, the downhill riders fall almost vertically into the depths. During the Vertical Summer Run, the route from St. Moritz Dorf to the start of the men's ski downhill is to be completed over 5.5 kilometers and around 1000 meters in altitude. In the destination, the magnificent view of the Engadin lake landscape attracts and lets forget the effort. Rightly, the finishers are proud to have run the men's downhill slope on their own vertical.
