70km

The course of about 70 kilometres runs from Ylläsjärvi, through Äkäslompolo, Kukastunturi and
Pyhäjärvi to Levi. Along the route, two fells (Kellostapuli and Kukastunturi) are crossed. There are
seven service stations – see more details

55km

The 55 km route excludes the initial part (Kellostapuli fell) of the longer route and starts from
Äkäslompolo village. Otherwise the routes are similar, and there are five service stations – see more details

Starting points of the races and parking

The 70 km skiing starting point is located on the Ylläsjärvi side of fell Yllästunturi. Address: Ylläs
Ski Resort Ylläsjärvi, Iso-Ylläksentie 44, 95980 Ylläsjärvi.

Parking on site.

The 55 km starting point is in Äkäslompolo, on the ice of lake Äkäslompolojärvi, in front of the
primary school, address: Koulutie 2, 95970 Äkäslompolo.

Parking: Ihmisen Rinki, Tunturintie 56, Ski Resort parking, 95970 Äkäslompolo.

Bus transport Levi-Ylläs

Shuttle buses to the starting areas will be organized from Levi and Äkäslompolo (70 km)/Ylläsjärvi
(55 km). Again, after the race, the bus transportation is organized from Levi to Ylläs area. The bus
tickets can be purchased in the registration system, at the race offices or at the bus departure
point.
