The Euroloppet Ski Marathon European Championship 2024, as part of the newly developed Dachsteinlauf, was characterized by breathtaking competitions and impressive performances. The results reflect the intense competition where participants demonstrated their skills and endurance.
Nearly 1000 enthusiastic cross-country skiers participated in the Euroloppet Ski Marathon European Championship. Each individual contributed to the success of this event with their dedication and passion.
The championship attracted participants from over 20 different nations, proudly representing their national colors. The cross-border atmosphere helped celebrate unity through sports and strengthen the spirit of community. A unique program, including a fantastic opening ceremony at the Ramsau event center, a Just for Fun enjoyment race, a Kidsrace, a hut evening, and a friendly atmosphere, rounded off the entire event and offered something for the whole family.
The Euroloppet Ski Marathon European Championship 2024 had many remarkable moments that will be remembered. From thrilling sprint finishes to impressive comebacks, there were numerous highlights that made the competition unforgettable.
Next year, the Euroloppet Ski Marathon European Championship 2025 will take place as part of the “Ganghoferlauf” in Leutasch (AUT).

The European Ski Marathon Championship took place in Slovakia this year. The live stream is powered by ”Travel Slovakia”.
Participants who registered for the Euroloppet race in Biela Stopa from 4th-5th March 2023 automatically took part in the European Ski Marathon Championship 2023.
Your advantages with the Euroloppet Pass: The results of the championship count towards the Euroloppet Pass Programme.
By registering, the participant accepts the following competition and participation conditions, liability conditions of the organizer and the use of participant data for publications and information services (result lists, newsletter, ski marathon magazine, internet, social media,…) in a legally binding manner.
In some countries it is obligatory that the participant accepts the obligation to undergo a sports medical examination before the start, which certifies that he/she is allowed to start for health reasons.
In this case, the certificate must be presented in the national language or in English or in German, if requested by the OC. In addition, the conditions of participation of the organizer and event organizer apply!
In order to participate, it is compulsory to be able to provide proof of accident- or health insurance.
By registering, the participant certifies that his/her physical condition is not impaired to participate in the cross-country skiing race and that he/she does not suffer from any illness that impedes or limits the sporting activity .
With the registration the participant assures that he/she has trained sufficiently for the participation in this competition and that he/she is physically healthy.
The medical staff is entitled to remove a participant from the race if there are threatening signs of a health impairment.
By registering, the participant accepts the following liability conditions of the organizer/promoter in a legally binding manner.
The European Ski Marathon Federation and the organizer of the races accept no liability whatsoever for accidents and damage to participants, officials, spectators and other persons, at and in the course of the event. In addition, the respective conditions of participation and liability of the respective race apply.
Privacy rights/ data protection notice
With the registration, the participant agrees that his/her personal data will be stored on data processing systems of the organizer and the European Ski Marathon Federation. The participant thus agrees to the storage, processing and use of personal data for organizer and association purposes, in accordance with the EU DSGV. In particular, with the registration the participant agrees that photos, films, etc. before, during and after the event with his/her image, as well as the personal data for results services, newsletters, ski marathon magazines, internet publications, social media, etc. may be published for organizer-/ association purposes.
Every person who has reached the age of 18 by the first of January in the year of the event is eligible to participate in the European Ski Marathon Championships. No continental restrictions apply.
The registration for the European Ski Marathon Championships takes place directly with the organizer for the race that will be classified as the European Ski Marathon Championships.
