The ultimate cross-country skiing event

Three top competitions will take place in Galtür from 26 to 28 March. Whether you are an experienced professional or a newcomer in cross-country skiing, there is a suitable race format for every skill level.

First up is the Kids & Juniors Race, where young up-and-coming skiers can demonstrate their skills, followed by the Nordic Sprint over 1,300 metres, which requires speed, tactics and technique above all else.

The highlight of the weekend, however, is the legendary Galtür Cross-Country Climb. Two spectacular routes lead from Galtür to the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe, combining sporting challenges with breathtaking Alpine scenery and varied terrain. This creates a race full of contrasts for the athletes, with routes ranging from gentle forest paths to wide high plateaus and impressive summit views. There are two formats to choose from: the light route, which covers 16.1 kilometres and 312 metres of elevation gain, is ideal for ambitious amateur athletes, while the hard version, which covers 38.9 kilometres and up to 912 metres of elevation gain, is a challenge– perfect for those with stamina, strength and fighting spirit.
