Info about the track
The start is directly at the Vuokatti Sports Institute. Everything is available there (start number distribution, waxing service, catering, award ceremony, hotel).
The routes (long distances – 50km & 100km) lead in the first part (5km) around Vuokatti in very demanding terrain. In the second part the course leads over frozen lakes and in the third part through the beautiful Finnish forests, over mountain ridges with partly long moderate climbs. The 30-km course is basically the third part of the 50-km course, and the 10-km course runs almost continuously on a frozen lake.
The cross-country skiing network around Vuokatti comprises about 200 km, which is excellently prepared for the classic and free technique. It is simply a dream for every cross-country skier to strap on his skis here.
