Dear Koasalauf and Cross-Country skiing fans!
Due to the lack of snow in the valley, the Int. Tiroler Koasalauf on 8 and 9 February 2025 in the St. Johann in Tirol region unfortunately has to be cancelled.
The weather forecast for the next few days and weeks predicts hardly any fresh snow in the valley, but rainfall and warm temperatures. Even if the conditions currently still allow cross-country skiing for the general public, the trails are unfortunately no longer suitable for the high number of skiers taking part in a public cross-country race. Under these conditions, it is not possible to organise the ‘Koasalauf’ with the usual ‘Koasalauf’-quality. All entry fees paid will be automatically refunded in the next few days.
‘We really hoped that we would be able to organise the Koasa Run this year – until recently we were still very optimistic, but unfortunately the weather has once again thrown a spanner in the works. However, we are still motivated and are looking forward to organising the event in 2026,’ says Walter Gapp, Race Director of the Koasalauf.
